Collection: Apples

We propagate everything we sell, in-house, from scion to rooted cutting to grafted tree. We don't buy and resell plants like the large online nurseries — every tree starts here, on our Maine property, and we're actively growing, observing, and culling as we go. Our orchard is young and we're learning alongside it, dropping varieties that underperform and doubling down on the ones that prove themselves in our climate.

We graft exclusively onto full-sized, long-lived rootstocks — no dwarfing stock, ever. These are trees built to outlast you, producing for decades without the coddling that semi-dwarf and dwarf trees demand.

Our selection goes beyond the nursery catalog. We're always scouting — roadside survivors, old homestead trees, forgotten orchards — and trading with backyard fruit enthusiasts and fellow growers across the region. Many of our varieties are "backyard selections": trees that earned their place not in a trial station, but in someone's yard, surviving neglect and hard winters and still putting out fruit worth eating.

If you're a northern grower looking for trees proven to thrive in cold climates, you're in the right place.
