(Amelanchier canadensis)
Serviceberry (aka shadblow, aka juneberry, aka wild pear) is a small tree reaching heights of 25-30 feet native to eastern North America. It is a very showy tree and often planted in landscapes for its 3 season beauty. It has beautiful pear-like blooms in early spring before the leaves emerge and gorgeous fall foliage. It produces loads of blueberry-like fruits that are loved by birds and humans alike. Often used in jams and jellies (if you can keep the birds off of them!) (zone 4)
