Chinese Chestnuts are a mid-sized tree growing 30-60 feet tall. Prized for their heavy yields of delicious nuts that are unique in the fact that they contain mostly carbohydrates (think rice). Can be eaten fresh, roasted, added to soups or made into flour. Two trees are required for pollination. High quality open pollinated seed, from improved plantings (zone 5)
