Thank you for visiting our small family-run nursery, rooted in the soil my family has worked for six generations and counting. Stewarding this land is both an honor and a responsibility, and one I take seriously as I work to leave it healthier and more abundant for those who come after me. This nursery is part of that legacy, built with care, purpose, and a deep respect for the land that sustains us.
Every plant we ship is grown and propagated right here on our property, often from mother trees that feed my own family. I grow and eat what I sell, and I’m committed to offering hardy, resilient, and truly useful plants for other hardworking people and their families.
As a fruit explorer and backyard breeder, I’m always searching for northern-hardy, disease-resistant selections that thrive in real-world backyards—not just ideal conditions. Quality matters, and every plant is packed by my own hands and shipped with the same care I’d want for myself.

I planted them on the same day they were picked up at Hobbs in early November this year. 2025, We can do a follow up review in the spring as to how they take. I enjoyed the trip to the nursery and like to shop Maine Local whenever possible.
The Hazelnut tree came on time without any issues, I was able to get it transplanted to its permanent spot as soon as I could and look forward to watching its growth!

I finally planted my elderberry plants 2 weeks after I got them! Because of the weather and the biggest snowstorm of the year I couldn’t get them right in! I kept them in a cool place and when I opened them up they looked great! Starting to bud out and the roots looked phenomenal! Thank you for such quality plants and the extras 😉

Tree arrived quickly, and was larger than I was expecting. Has been in the ground for a few weeks now and is doing great--the deer are leaving it alone for now and it's already putting on a lot of growth! Very happy with this little plant!
